Global Discipleship
Making Disciples of Christ through the local church for the glory of God among all peoples
Our Values
Embrace
We embrace Christ’s commission to make disciples. (Matt 28:18-20, Acts 1:8) The church has been commissioned to make disciples of all nations. We take this commission from Christ serious and seek to fulfill our roles, individually and collectively, in making disciples of all peoples.
Equip
We equip the church to make disciples of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-12, 2 Timothy 2:2) We equip members of the church to fulfill the ministry given to them by God. We equip them first to be disciples who love and pursue God. Then we train them to teach others how to follow Christ.
encourage
We encourage our sent out disciple-makers. (1 Thess. 3:1-4, 1 Timothy 1:1-5, Titus 1:4-5) We have a responsibility to watch over and encourage members who have been sent out by the church to make disciples. Though they now live in a different location we still consider them as a part of our church and family. We will therefore email them, call them, visit them, and help provide for their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs as the make disciples among the nations.
engage
We engage people with the gospel and through our lives. (1 Thess. 2:8, Romans 10:13-20) Billions of people around the world have little or no access to the gospel, have no church to visit, nor have an opportunity to cross paths with a Christian. We will therefore go and engage these unreached and under-equipped peoples by coming alongside specific disciple-making partners who are evangelizing, discipling believers, and planting churches.
