AMP’d (4th-6th graders)
Amp’d is designed to meet the needs of 4th through 6th graders as they transition from Children to Youth Ministry. Our students spend time studying God’s Word and building relationships with one another.
Amp’d meets in room 206. We are currently using the curriculum “The Gospel Project”. This curriculum is a Christ-centered, chronological study that will take your students on a journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, students will discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history, and what it means for them. This is a three year chronological study through the Bible.
4th-6th graders attend the worship service.
Students spend time learning basic theological concepts through weekly Bible study and Scripture memorization. Children meet together for worship and then participate in 3 rotations of Bible handbook time, missions, and recreation. Sparks (K-2nd graders) Truth and Training (3rd-5th graders). The AWANA ministry runs from the beginning of September through April.
